December 12, 2013 | Badr Ethiopia
The news of the release of a few of the incarcerated Ethiopian Muslims from Ethiopian prison may be encouraging but that is not enough. Badr Ethiopia has maintained from the outset that all the Arbitration Committee members and other incarcerated Muslims who were legally and peacefully protesting against acts of interference and religious persecution are innocent. Badr will now intensify its efforts not only for the freedom of the remaining prisoners of conscience but also for the government to address the three legal demands of the Ethiopian Muslims that were the basis for imprisonment of their leaders.
Badr will continue its peaceful struggle until a fruitful end is reached.
